Local Carob Honey

Carob Honey is one of Malta’s most unique honeys.

Dark, aromatic, and naturally reminiscent of chocolate. Harvested in autumn from the blossoms of the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua), it offers a bold, distinctive flavour with the rich qualities typical of darker honeys.

Packed with minerals and known for its supportive antimicrobial properties, it’s a comforting choice during the cooler months. Carob Honey is also considered rare, as carob flowers are sensitive to rain and don’t produce a reliable harvest every year.
