The 'Grottlu', the large, grumpy, and charismatic crab I spent countless hours chasing across the shore as a young boy. This species can still be found lumbering around the shoreline or hiding in cracks in the wave-battered rocks across the Maltese Islands. The fortifications held upon its back represent the Valletta skyline as seen from Sliema, my old hunting ground for these wonderful animals.

This single block print is A3 in size and a limited edition of 50 prints.
