Inspired by a match box manufactured by the Modern Match Factory of Marsa (c.1980s), “Sunshine” showcases an array of cultural and built heritage elements surrounding the Grand Harbour.

Depictions of the Grand Harbour have always been used by local brands and designers to establish an emotional connection with potential buyers. Drawing inspiration from imagery related to the Harbour as portrayed on a number of old Maltese products, “Grand” is a three-part limited edition series that presents a panoramic viewpoint of all the activities revolving around this area. In addition, it pays tribute to this geographical asset which has become a melting pot of cultural, commercial and industrial activities.
