Brass Jewellery-making Workshop

Learn how to design and cast brass jewellery with Sonam Sakhuja

About this experience

“We will begin this journey in Malta’s one of a kind boutique store, BIRGU BLUE. Surrounded by beauty and skill around us, we are going to dive into the artist present within yourself.

While learning the art of design through your inspirations and mind mapping, we will begin the creation using basic sketching, wax sculpting/modelling and finishing techniques.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to see the “Why” behind every design you come across.”
- Sonam Sakhuja, Jewellery Designer and Teacher

Tools and materials are provided.

You may choose to make either a piece of jewellery that we create using one of your inspirations or learn to replicate one of my own designs.

The workshop will be accompanied by a presentation in which you will learn about one of the oldest metal casting techniques that is used to cast our jewellery.
