My name is Ozzy Chien and I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and now co-run a concept store called BIRGU BLUE in Malta, which features stunning hand-made items. I am a fashion designer with a Masters degree in Accessory Design from the prestigious Accademia di Costume e di Moda in Rome. My style fuses Taiwanese-Japanese minimalism and European design, with practical functionality in mind.

“Being an artisan defines me; it’s all about inner peace."

When I concentrate on stitching, I go into a world of silence, and focus only on the two needles and one thread. Any worries are temporarily forgotten. I want to share this incredible feeling with you and would like to apply the skills involved to craft your own leather accessories with your own hands.
